Key Responsibilities- Analyze financial data to ensure accurate revenue recognition according to Bruker corporate policies.
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
- Examine documentation supporting revenue recognition in terms of compliance with US GAAP and internal guidelines (RRC).
- Monitor and analyze revenue streams to identify trends and variances.
- Monthly reporting to Corporate.
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and SOX controls.
- Support audits and other business queries.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance/ ACCA.
- Minimum 2 years of General Ledger/ AR work experience involving US GAAP revenue recognition.
- Effective communication skills in English (written and oral); other foreign language would be an asset (preferably French/Italian).
- Advanced computer proficiency with SAP ERP or Microsoft Dynamics Navision and MS Office Suite including Excel expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to work on and own initiatives while also collaborating within a team.
- Strong understanding of controls required within an accounting organization.
