This is a key role within our Global Procurement function, driving a high-performance culture and setting the standard for excellence. As a Strategic Sourcing Buyer, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing projects and cost-reducing process/supplier improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities- Develop global sourcing strategies to drive savings and value for the company.
- Lead the Source to Contract (S2C) process, including sourcing strategy execution, evaluation, recommendation, supplier selection, and award.
- Conduct negotiations and support supplier segmentation, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), and quarterly supplier reviews.
- Manage stakeholder and supplier relationships to ensure alignment with current and future business needs.
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Buyer with a proven track record in strategic procurement/sourcing environments. Key qualifications include:
- 2+ years of experience in strategic procurement/sourcing, employing a formal category/sourcing management process.
- Experience of strategic sourcing/running tenders and understanding of Category Management principles.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to drive decisions and present results to management.
