QA Automation Consultant

Job Description

What is your role?

• Develop automated tests to ensure the quality of software applications.
• Work with common test automation frameworks and tools to create efficient and effective test scripts.
• Integrate with CI/CD tools and pipeline to automate the testing process.
• Identify potential quality risks and analyze results to report defects.
• Collaborate with colleagues onshore and offshore daily to ensure seamless communication and project delivery.

You will report to the Quality Assurance Director.

Qualifications

What should you have?

• 3+ years of commercial experience in testing Web and Client/Server applications.
• Experience with Playwright automated tool and other automated testing tools such as Robot Framework, Cucumber, and Postman.
• Knowledge of SQL, PLSQL, and troubleshooting skills.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work with a team on urgent issues resolution.
• Understanding of Web technologies such as HTTP(S), S/FTP, Web Services (SOAP, RESTful).

Desirable Experience:

• Understanding of performance testing principles and best practices.
• Good programming skills in JavaScript or Typescript.
• Experience of web usability, i18n, and accessibility testing and the corresponding tools.
• Understanding of Agile software development principles.
• Knowledge in some main Internet and e-commerce principles such as SEO, Web Analytics, Geotargeting, CDN.
