The Director Of Engineering will be responsible for managing the hotel's engineering and maintenance operations, including overseeing daily operations, maintaining hotel systems, and implementing sustainability initiatives.
Main Accountabilities:
- Engineering Operations: Manage and maintain the hotel's physical structure, mechanical systems, equipment, and safety compliance.
- Team Supervision: Lead, train, and develop the engineering team to ensure a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Develop and implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainable practices in line with Marriott's environmental policies.
- Guest Satisfaction: Collaborate with other departments to maintain a seamless guest experience by ensuring all facilities and services operate efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of engineering management experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, fire safety, and building codes.
