We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Consultant to join our team in the Asset & Project Accounting area. As a key member of our EDP Energias de Portugal S.A. team, you will play a crucial role in managing the lifecycle of assets, including creation, acquisition, transfer, disposal, and scraping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage assets under construction, including WBS elements (work breakdown structure)
  • Manage lease agreements (IFRS 16) under SAP-RE
  • Perform period-end closing operations, including depreciation, cost of dismantlement, and impairment losses
  • Support local GAAP adjustments as required by local legal/tax rules

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Management, or a related field
  • 5 to 8 years' experience in SAP consulting - Financial Area
  • Knowledge of SAP Fixed Assets Module
  • Knowledge of IFRS 16 and Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel

Working Conditions:

  • Full-Time employment
  • Hybrid work model

Salary Range:

$80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience
