About this role

We are looking for a skilled SCADA and IT Systems Technician to join our team at Vestas. As a member of our Regional Support department, you will be responsible for overseeing, implementing, and managing SCADA systems. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and Vestas clients within Vestas MED to provide state-of-the-art leading technology in monitoring, control, and data acquisition systems for the wind technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide level 1 support for SCADA and IT systems in windfarms
  • Perform platform troubleshooting, server hardware, and software
  • Offer remote support to service technicians in on-site operations
  • Ensure internal ticketing tools are up-to-date and accurate
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

  • Technical education in IT, Electronics, or a related field
  • Experience with server operating systems, Linux, and SQL servers
  • Knowledge of VMware and networking configurations
  • PLC programming and communication protocols (IEC, MODBUS, DNP, OPC) are a plus
  • Excellent English skills, both verbal and written
  • Valid driver's license
