We generated revenue of over €1.3 billion in 2023 by supplying more than 7.4 million active customers with our 5.8 million vehicle parts and accessories for car, truck, and motorcycle brands.
Responsibilities
This role involves working on the Autodoc Pro product, improving the current existing system, and contributing to the migration from PHP monolith to the new microservice architecture in the near future. You'll evolve and improve the existing codebase in PHP, design and implement microservices – Java, RabbitMQ/Kafka, PostgreSQL/MySQL, perform test-driven development and Test Automation, and handle service monitoring, alerting, and incident mitigation – New Relic, Grafana. Also, you'll align technical decisions with other Senior Engineers from other teams.
Requirements
You'll require 5 years+ of work experience as a PHP Software Engineer, experience with MySQL, Postgres, and working with large data volumes, and experience in software development, supporting the design and development of large-scale, distributed software applications – RabbitMQ/Kafka. Additionally, you'll need experience with microservices and cloud architectures – Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Docker, and knowledge of architecture/design methods and patterns, data and API specifications, quality assurance, and testing methods – SOLID, OOP. You should have strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a team environment.
