Data Driven Airline Operations Expert

We seek a highly motivated Data Analyst to join our team at TN Portugal, Portugal.

Job Description

In this challenging role, you will gather airline operational data from multiple sources, transform and augment it, and deliver it to internal departments such as aircraft program, engineering, marketing and strategy.

The data is vast, with billions of data lines being analyzed, and requires a high degree of organization and analytical skill to effectively manage.

You will contribute to creating an airline operations data catalog, using the data in analysis to answer business questions and creating dashboards to make the data easily accessible.

You will work closely with a team of developers organized in Agile to deliver on your mission.

This position is part of a larger team, with several similar functional positions available.

You will be responsible for specific data streams (sourcing, acquisition, transformation, augmentation), specific dashboards and client's accounts.

You will have to make most decisions regarding these three responsibility areas from determining the needs, their priorities, iterating with the clients, validating the results and driving the continuous improvements.

Your contribution will need to be perfectly in line with the project guidelines and ways of working.

This role requires a deep understanding of airline operations (flight and/or commercial operations) and the ability to properly handle data in a very structured way.

Good communication skills are also essential.

The number of years of experience is not a major factor as long as the above listed competencies are answered.

You will start as the first team member located in Lisbon but the plan is to increase the team size and you will therefore be quickly joined by other colleagues.

You will have a role as a mentor for the other team members.

Your initiatives, reliability and ability to drive the project with your colleagues will determine your responsibilities and scopes over the years as we are flexible with these.

This position located in Lisbon will be in daily communication with the rest of the team located in other countries but also in communication with the internal clients and users.

It will also supervise developments that are done by either Airbus colleagues or suppliers.

Finally, this position will perform airline operations analysis leveraging data and dashboards.

Ultimately, this position will deliver on all the above mentioned responsibilities and concretely drive the delivery of valuable and quality data, studies and applications.
