Servicing Nokia NetAct Systems


As a specialist in Nokia NetAct system engineering, you will assume a key role in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of NetAct systems. Your responsibilities will encompass providing technical guidance to junior engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the stability and performance of network infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities


System Design and Implementation: Design and implement Nokia NetAct systems, adhering to industry standards and company requirements.


Advanced Troubleshooting: Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues, offering expert advice and support to junior engineers and stakeholders.


Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability.


Project Management: Manage projects related to NetAct installations, upgrades, and migrations, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful completion.


Documentation and Best Practices: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and best practices, ensuring adherence to these standards by junior engineers.


Client Relations: Serve as a technical point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance and addressing technical concerns.


Team Leadership: Mentor and train junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.


Compliance and Security: Ensure that all systems comply with company policies, industry standards, and security protocols to safeguard sensitive data and maintain system integrity.


About You


You will possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. You will have at least 5 years of experience in system engineering with a focus on Nokia NetAct or similar network management systems.


Key qualifications include deep knowledge of telecommunications technologies, network protocols, and systems architecture. Strong expertise in Linux/Unix operating systems and scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl is essential. You will exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex technical issues.


Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams and collaborate with cross-functional departments, are also required. Relevant certifications (e.g., Nokia Certified NetAct Administrator, CCNP, or equivalent) are highly desirable. Experience in project management and a proven ability to lead technical projects to completion are also essential.
