About the Role:
Assist in finding new sites for solar, wind, and storage deployment across Portugal; Prepare and advise on grid applications to TSO and DSO; Analyse commercial offers and work with network operators to mitigate risks and achieve efficient grid connections; Identify emerging technologies to optimise grid connections; Evaluate electrical and protection design; Produce single line diagrams and technical specifications; Evaluate technical proposals and recommend project contractors; Supervise project execution and Quality Assurance & Quality Control; Perform grid connection feasibility studies; Ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
Requirements:
Electrical engineering degree; At least 2 years of experience in the energy industry, managing grid connections; Understanding of grid connection regulatory framework; Knowledge of power system studies, distribution and/or transmission network operations; Renewable energy experience preferred; Experience with protections and SCADA systems; Experience with electrical software desirable.
