TN Portugal is looking for a Senior Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Quality Management team in Lisbon.
About the JobAs a Senior Software Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by developing and executing comprehensive test strategies, identifying bugs and defects, and reporting them effectively. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our customers' needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute all types of tests to ensure the quality of our software products;
- Perform exploratory testing to identify undocumented problems and create detailed bug reports;
- Create and maintain test cases and test scenarios to ensure thorough testing;
- Identify bugs and defects, report them on an appropriate tool, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues;
- Develop and maintain test strategies to ensure efficient testing processes;
- Use test and defect management tools to track and manage testing activities;
- Elaborate and present status reports to stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment;
- Lead and train junior team members in project-specific tasks and procedures;
- Provide constructive feedback to development teams to improve software quality;
- Participate in meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and opportunities;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing and quality processes to enhance overall software quality;
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and issue resolution.
Requirements:
- At least 6 years of professional experience in similar functions or roles;
- Experience in design, planning, and execution of functional testing, including regression, integration, and E2E testing;
- Experience with test management tools, defect management tools, and reporting;
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environments;
- Excellent communication, planning, and organization skills to manage multiple projects and stakeholders;
- Good English communication skills, both written and spoken, to interact with global teams and stakeholders;
- Capacity for initiative, dynamism, and proactivity to drive results-oriented initiatives;
- Degree in computer science or similar field preferred, but not required;
- ISTQB certifications a plus.
