Job Description:
We seek a senior academic staff member with a high-quality research activity, proven experience in leading scientific research projects, and a strong record of publication and awarded grants. You will be responsible for carrying out cutting-edge scientific research projects, teaching courses at undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels, and engaging in university representation, scientific divulgation, and knowledge transfer to society.
Requirements:
- PhD degree in Engineering or a related area
- Agregação title awarded by Portuguese Universities
- Strong publication record
- Record of awarded grants
- Ability to provide inspiring teaching (English and/or Portuguese)
- Ability to deal with scientific/engineering challenges
- Ability to set up and manage European or international research networks
- Ability to motivate and coach research teams
Benefits:
This tenure-track position offers a gross salary of €68,090.96 to €78,842.26 per year, plus health coverage and other benefits. Salary supplements are linked to participation in R&D projects.
