About JC Aircraft Maintenance
We are an engineering services company supporting Ryanair's engineering function in Portugal.
We are seeking a Safety and Standard Assistant to join our team in Porto, working closely with colleagues to ensure Ryanair's safety record remains industry-leading.
The successful candidate will have expertise in tracking Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs) and reviewing and monitoring of the Allowable Levels of Safety Performance (ALOSP).
Main Job Duties:
- Developing statistical analysis within our team;
- Investigating and reviewing maintenance errors in aircraft incidents due to technical reasons;
- Investigating and reviewing events and occurrences with a potential impact on the safety of the Ryanair Group operation;
- Ensuring accurate input and retention of data;
- Escalating Safety Reports as appropriate, providing report summaries and de-identifying them as applicable;
- Recognizing and promoting hazard reporting and ensuring an effective safety reporting process.
Requirements:
- An Engineering Degree in Aeronautics, Mechanics or related field is valued;
- A highly organized individual with the ability to balance multiple priorities and hit tight deadlines;
- Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office;
- Good communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus;
- Previous experience within compliance or safety is valued but not mandatory;
- DIRECT and permanent employment with a Portuguese contract;
- Employment in a stable and steadily growing organization;
- Working with one of the fastest growing airlines in the world and one of the most talented engineering teams in the industry.
