Job Overview

Faurecia is a leading automotive supplier, and we are seeking a skilled Commodity Desk Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a critical role in supporting our commodity buyers in negotiation preparation and strategy analysis.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support IDP commodity buyers in their dealings with business group stakeholders
  • Conduct advanced analysis to efficiently deploy commodity strategies
  • Prepare future negotiations and propose new opportunities for savings and negotiation
  • Manage serial contracts, including payment terms, invoicing, and renewal
  • Support buyers in strategic RFQ deployment and contract management
  • Operational Support: Align contracts with commodity strategy and resolve operational topics with suppliers

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business or Purchasing and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a purchasing-related environment. Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, and Data Analytics, are mandatory. Agility using office tools, mainly Excel and PowerPoint, is also required.

Language

Fluency in French and English is mandatory.
