Job Title: Devops Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Devops Engineer to join our team at TeamViewer GmbH. As a Devops Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the CI/CD infrastructure and tools to deliver high-quality software in the most efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, and GitLab CI/CD.
  • Manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration and deployment.
  • Implement and maintain GitOps practices for version-controlled and declarative infrastructure and application management.
  • Work with the Security Team to ensure systems are safe against security threats and set up security protocols.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot applications and infrastructure, responding to system issues as necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless, automated, and secure release processes.

Requirements:

  • A degree or education in computer science and/or proven experience as a Devops Engineer or similar software engineering role.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools.
  • Proficient with Kubernetes and Docker container management.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
  • Experience with one or more of the main cloud providers (GCP, Azure or AWS).
  • Experience with GitOps and source control management tools like Git.
  • Solid understanding of network, security, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Good knowledge of the HTTP protocol and how HTTP-based microservices work.
  • Knowledge of Java, Go and SQL is advantageous.
  • English is no hurdle for you (at least B2-level required).
  • You are a team player and work independently and autonomously.
