About the Role
The ideal candidate for this Senior Construction Cost Manager position will have a strong background in managing costs and budgets for large-scale construction projects, including data centers, life sciences, and other mission-critical facilities. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in cost estimation, planning, and management to drive business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives by providing accurate and timely cost management information.
- Deliver high-quality services and ensure that cost management deliverables meet customers' requirements by effectively communicating with stakeholders.
- Manage projects to deliver high-quality services and deliverables in accordance with business procedures, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Possess sound knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies, and be able to apply this knowledge to advise on and implement effective procurement strategies.
- Prepare and present order of cost estimates and option studies to support business decision-making.
- Perform cost planning, cost-in-use studies, and other cost-related tasks to ensure that costs are accurately estimated and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
About You
We are looking for a highly experienced Cost Manager who possesses a strong track record of delivering high-quality cost management services in large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Building Engineering, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Architecture, and possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
