Borgwarner is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team as a Global Advanced Manufacturing Engineer for Heaters. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing new products, manufacturing technologies, and implementing strategies to support new processes and technology launches for heaters and related products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Engineering Groups to develop eHeater products
- Develop manufacturing strategies that provide maximum operational flexibility with minimal investments
- Participate in LPPD Workshops to ensure product and process robustness
- Implement manufacturing best practices and lessons learned into new designs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline required; master's degree preferred
- 5 years of engineering experience at the plant level required; electromechanical device experience essential
- Advanced knowledge in electricity, electromechanical systems, and heat transfer methodologies
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, Lean Manufacturing principles, and quality systems. They should also possess excellent communication skills for both internal and external customers. Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum based on location and experience.
