Job Overview:

The IT Technical Communication Specialist is a key role within our Internal Communication Department, responsible for managing and optimizing digital platforms that support corporate communications' internal communication efforts.

This position ensures that content is up-to-date, platforms function seamlessly, and employees have access to well-structured and engaging resources.

The ideal candidate will oversee internal communication tools, collaborate with IT and external vendors for platform improvements, and support HR teams in their platforms and systems' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize digital platforms, including Umbraco, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365
  • Liaise with technical teams to report errors and implement changes
  • Create, update, and remove modules, sections, and page content
  • Interpret and optimize requests from HR teams for better platform usability
  • Upload news, create new menus, and develop complex sub-sites
  • Maintain homepage content, including movies, banners, and hyperlinks
  • Ensure corporate platforms functionality by working closely with the IT Department and third-party vendors
  • Monitor corporate system updates and implement new versions while preserving functionality
  • Proactively add value to platform developments and user experience improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Platforms, IT, or related fields
  • 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in content management, intranet/web platform administration, or IT support
  • Previous experience with Umbraco, SharePoint, Microsoft Office tools
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese (verbal and written)
  • Service-oriented mindset, dedicated to supporting internal clients efficiently
  • Critical analysis and prioritization with the ability to assess and sequence tasks effectively
  • Project ownership, being capable of managing projects from inception to completion
  • Strong team player with ability to collaborate, contribute ideas, and follow leadership directives
