Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team at Bridge In. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with payroll records, supporting employee onboarding and offboarding activities, and responding to employee and customer inquiries related to payroll matters.

• Assist with payroll records, including new hires, leavers, and contractual changes
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities
• Respond to employee and customer inquiries related to payroll matters
• Help ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and social security
• Assist in managing employee leaves and absences
• Support the maintenance of the benefits plan and expense reimbursement procedures
• Help prepare reconciliation reports and support audit procedures

• Based in Portugal
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a similar field
• Eligibility for IEFP internship
• Strong English and Portuguese oral and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Be deliberate, thorough, and rigorous when executing assignments
• Proficient with corporate productivity tools, including email and spreadsheets
• Ability to self-manage by prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
