Your Role
As Golf Course Superintendent, you will play a key part in ensuring the success of our golf courses, working closely with the Agronomy Director and other members of the operations team. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and improve the overall condition of the golf course, including its infrastructure, facilities, and services.
Main Tasks
* Plan and implement strategies to enhance the quality and appearance of the golf course, meeting the expectations of our guests and stakeholders.
* Lead and manage the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their success and well-being.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote environmental sustainability, water efficiency, and waste reduction on the golf course.
* Collaborate with colleagues across departments to achieve business objectives and drive results.
Requirements
* Advanced degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Turfgrass Management, or related fields, with at least 3 years' experience in a similar role on high-quality golf courses.
* Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams, with expertise in turf maintenance practices, irrigation systems, pest control, and environmental sustainability.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Portuguese and/or English, and a keen sense of collaboration and teamwork.
