We seek a skilled Lead Backend Software Engineer to oversee the design and development of high-quality solutions within our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for ensuring alignment with best practices and contributing to the team's overall understanding of problem/solution implementation details.
Key Accountabilities:- Oversee the design and development of high-quality solutions within the team, adhering to industry standards;
- Contribute to the team's overall understanding of problem/solution implementation details;
- Monitor team performance, intervening when necessary to ensure quality outcomes;
- Collaborate with other teams to align on dependencies;
- Optimize the performance of the platform components;
- Produce and test code efficiently, leveraging automation;
- Gather end-user feedback, adapting solutions accordingly;
- Develop maintainable solutions scalable to thousands of users;
- Familiarity with product development best practices, continuous delivery, and testing;
- Experience designing and communicating high-level functional designs and solutions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field;
- Minimum 8 years of software development experience;
- Experience mentoring junior software engineers;
- Solid knowledge of software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures, and Object-Oriented Design;
- Excellent coding skills in one or more technologies: C#, Java, Python; Preference given to C#.
- AWS, Kubernetes, Microservices Development experience valued;
- Relational Database experience: SQLServer, Oracle valued;
- Continuous delivery and testing techniques valued;
- Good communication skills and fluency in English;
- Experience solving and troubleshooting complex technical issues;
- Demonstrated drive to innovate and introduce best practices to your team;
- Ability to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and frameworks;
- Fluent English language skills.
