Job Description
We're looking for expert Android Developers to:
1. Develop a scalable mobile framework/SDK for the Android platform that meets our high standards of quality and performance.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features that meet our users' needs and expectations.
3. Apply best coding practices and advocate for them through design and code reviews to ensure our software is maintainable, efficient, and scalable.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Alternatively, we also welcome candidates with relevant industry experience and a strong understanding of computer science fundamentals.
- Experience with Kotlin, RxJava 2, and the Android SDK. Familiarity with REST API architecture and its applications is also highly desirable.
- Understanding of functional and reactive programming concepts and their practical applications in mobile app development.
- A proven track record of creating engaging user experiences and implementing mobile user interface patterns that delight our users.
- The ability to keep up with the latest trends, architectures, ideas, and technologies in the mobile ecosystem.
- A commitment to producing clean and well-documented code that leverages software design patterns, architectural patterns, and data structures effectively.
Nice to Have
You don't need to have knowledge in all of the following areas, but having some experience in at least one of them will be a bonus:
- Familiarity with the user experience design process and its application in mobile app development.
- Knowledge of CI/CD development methodologies and tools that streamline our development workflow.
- Experience working on apps that support multiple Android devices and adapting to different screen sizes and resolutions.
