At Alphanumeric Systems Canada Ltd, we are seeking an experienced Freelance Medical Writer to join our team. As a key member of our medical communications group, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, scientifically accurate content in various standard medical communications deliverables.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical writing, with experience working in the life sciences industry. Fluency in written German and English is required, as well as proficiency in MS Office and database searches such as Pubmed and ClinicalTrials.gov.
We are looking for a professional who can interact effectively with client leads, manage documents throughout the review process, and ensure revisions and comments are addressed consistently across deliverables. If you are passionate about medical writing and have a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Alphanumeric team members and client leads to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Develop accurate and concise outlines, on-target first drafts, and proactively incorporate data/revisions as appropriate for high-quality content development.
- Prioritize scientific accuracy, clarity, and ethics when creating, referencing, reviewing, or editing content.
- Write materials with tone and language appropriate for the target audience and ensure an effective story flow is in place.
- Provide robust references and annotate documents as required for the content being developed.
We require a minimum of 5 years of medical writing experience, fluency in written German and English, and experience working with Swiss regulatory organizations. A PharmD or PhD is preferred, but other life science degrees considered with relevant experience.
