Job Title: Anatomical Pathology Technician
Job Description:
The Fundação Champalimaud seeks highly skilled Anatomical Pathology Technicians to join the Pathology Department team. This role involves working in gross examination, histology, cytology, ancillary techniques, and other laboratory tasks. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting gross examinations and preparing tissue samples for histopathological analysis
- Performing cytological screening and ancillary techniques
- Collaborating with the technical team to ensure smooth laboratory operations
- Providing excellent communication and teamwork skills
Candidate Profile:
Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Anatomic Pathology, Cytology, and Thanatology or equivalent
- Updated professional license
- Postgraduate training in Macroscopy in Anatomic Pathology (optional)
- Experience in cytology techniques and cytology screening (optional)
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently and collaboratively, and demonstrate proficiency in Portuguese and English.
