Key Job Responsibilities
This senior position involves:

  • Leading the preparation of US and Canada corporate income tax returns, quarterly estimates, and extension calculations
  • Reviewing and preparing income tax provisions under IFRS and US GAAP for US entities and creating comprehensive reporting packages
  • Maintaining accurate tax calendars to ensure compliance with established deadlines
  • Evaluating state tax nexus studies and implementing necessary changes
  • Providing critical documentation and support during tax examinations

Essential Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A degree in Tax or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in taxation with a focus on US corporate taxes
  • Extensive knowledge of US tax laws and regulations
  • Proven skills in tax calculation and ancillary obligations
  • Proficiency in Dynamics 365 and SAP tax compliance software
  • A high level of proficiency in English
