Freight Auditing Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of freight invoices and maintaining the corresponding workflow in a global scope. You will also support in the forecast process and reporting of freight volumes and costs, and in the operational claims management.
Key Responsibilities:- Confirm and audit inbound and outbound freight invoices, including controls and reporting
- Collaborate with logistics managers to solve discrepancies
- Maintain and oversee defined controls for processes in place
- Maintain the processes in terms of documentation, quality tools, and audit process
- Contribute to process harmonization and automation in collaboration with Porto ́s teams and Central teams
- Support in the operational claims management process
- Support in the forecast process & reporting of freight volumes & costs
- A University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or similar field of studies
- At least 1 year of experience in Logistics, Finance, Accounting, or other relevant area preferably in a Shared Services Center
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel – SAP is preferred
- An analytical mindset and the ability to pay attention to details
- Fluency in English – knowledge of German is an advantage
