Capgemini Portugal is currently seeking a skilled Data Analytics Engineer to join one of the world's most prestigious and innovative companies in the luxury industry.

Our client is the owner of renowned Maisons distinguished by their craftsmanship, creativity, and technological innovation. Their ambition is to nurture the unique heritage and values of their Maisons and businesses, while enabling them to grow and prosper in a responsible, sustainable manner over the long term.

To leverage Lisbon's tech spirit and infuse it into their brand-new Tech Competence Centre, our client is looking to reinforce their technical capabilities on state-of-the-art technology and respond to the growth of their business. Their Lisbon teams will be an extension of their central Group Platforms teams and will be fully integrated in the core technology workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Google Looker platform owner to monitor and keep the Google Looker Platform up-to-date.

Monitor and query system activity data using API.

Provide daily operational support to business users on LookML, dbt according to the best practices and enable them to continually improve their projects autonomously.

Optimize performance of LookML and dashboards.

Setup new projects in Looker and help leveraging Hub&Spoke architecture.

Promote Looker good practices and security culture.

Liaise with software providers on support and innovation topics.

Provide a clear documentation related to the areas under responsibility.

Use Jira to manage backlog and priorities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Mandatory professional experience with Google Looker as LookML developer (at least 1-year working experience).

Experience with Python, gitlab, dbt and complex queries developments in BigQuery.

Experience with Looker API is a big plus.

Experience with performance tuning (knowledge of monitoring tools & technical solutions to get the best performance).

Experience in business consulting and international exposure.

Experience with user support is a plus.

Interview Process:

Our team will actively review all applications. If your application is selected, we will reach out to you for an informal introductory call.

The next step will be meeting our client's team for a technical interview with team members, selected candidates will move to final interview with the Hiring Manager and HR team. Additional rounds may be engaged on a case-by-case basis.

For this role, you will be initially offered a contract for Capgemini Portugal. More details will be shared during the interview process.
