About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join our BTP AI team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable and secure cloud-based architectures using cloud technologies such as SAP BTP, AWS, Azure, or GCP. You will work closely with diverse teams to streamline and improve processes on the SAP BTP through backend development of AI applications, leveraging your technical expertise to drive innovation.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing scalable and secure cloud-based architectures using cloud technologies such as SAP BTP, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Making critical design decisions regarding underlying architecture for the cloud-based solutions.
  • Collaborating with diverse teams to streamline and improve processes on the SAP BTP through backend development of AI applications, leveraging your technical expertise to drive innovation.
  • Avoiding obstacles by adopting a problem-solving attitude and persistently seeking solutions.
  • Embracing a growth mindset and being open to learning new technologies and software development practices as they emerge, with a focus on generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI-augmented development, and relevant tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field, with at least 3 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Extensive experience building scalable and resilient distributed systems using cloud technologies such as SAP BTP, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, TypeScript, or Python.
  • Practical knowledge of Clean Code principles, SOLID Principles, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Good understanding of Relational databases, NoSQL databases, and database design.
  • Proficiency with modern web APIs and data serialization formats, including RESTful API design, oData or GraphQL.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
  • Evident problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to think critically and approach complex challenges in a methodical manner.
  • A strong desire to continuously learn and stay up to date on the latest trends and developments in software development, particularly in areas like generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI-augmented tools.
  • A passion for process improvement and user experience enhancement, with a focus on driving efficiency and innovation.
  • Fluency both written and spoken in English.
