Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Selection and Qualification: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on capabilities, cost-effectiveness, and reliability. Lead the negotiation process to secure favorable terms and conditions for our organization.
- Project Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans to ensure timely and efficient execution. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Continuously analyze supply chain processes to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction. Develop and implement strategies to scale up technologies across regions with qualified suppliers.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess potential supply chain risks, such as supplier disruptions, quality issues, or geopolitical factors. Develop and implement contingency plans to minimize the impact of these risks.
About the Team:
The Amazon Logistics Supply Chain team owns the supply chain setup and readiness for all new programs and products across multiple engineering categories (equipment, fixtures, consumables, etc.). We partner with stakeholders in Worldwide Engineering, WHS, Design, Operations, and Procurement to bring last and middle mile ambitions to life.
