Your Role
This position is ideal for those starting their career in Information Technology or looking to grow in a dynamic corporate environment. As a Helpdesk Technician Level 1, your key responsibilities include:
• First Line Technical Support: Responding to calls, emails, and support tickets with prompt and courteous assistance
• Hardware and Software Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving issues with equipment such as computers, printers, and other peripherals
• Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Installing and configuring computers and peripherals, performing software updates, and monitoring device performance to prevent failures
• User Account Management: Assisting in creating, removing, and managing user accounts in various enterprise systems, including assigning access permissions
• Incident and Solution Documentation: Recording incidents and their solutions, contributing to a shared knowledge base to enhance support efficiency
• Problem Escalation: Identifying more complex issues and escalating them to higher-level support or specialized teams when necessary
• End User Training and Support: Guiding users on software and systems, promoting autonomy and efficiency in using available tools
Required Qualifications
Certification or training in Information Technology, Networking, or a related field
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in similar technical support roles, preferably in corporate environments
Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and productivity tools
Basic knowledge of networking, including concepts of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
Customer Service Skills: Customer-oriented, with strong communication skills and the ability to adapt technical language to the user's knowledge level
Technical Certifications: ITIL certification or willingness to obtain it in the short term; other basic certifications such as Microsoft Certified Fundamentals are valued
