Role Overview
Threat Intelligence ProfessionalTN Portugal is searching for a highly skilled Threat Intelligence Professional to contribute to our cybersecurity efforts. As a vital member of our security team, you will be responsible for managing vulnerabilities, analyzing and characterizing them, prioritizing and communicating them, as well as monitoring indicators and continually improving associated processes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Vulnerability Management: Managing the life cycle of vulnerabilities, including identification, prioritization, and mitigation in IT systems to prevent exploitation by attackers.
- Industry-Specific Threat Analysis: Conducting tailored threat assessments based on the specific risks and cyber threats faced by our clients' industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, technology), focusing on the most relevant security issues.
- IOCs Development: Creating specific patterns (e.g., IP addresses, file hashes) linked to malicious activity to detect and respond to cyberattacks.
- Malware Analysis: Analyzing malicious software to understand its behavior, identify vulnerabilities, and develop defenses to protect systems from similar future attacks.
- Threat Intelligence Reporting: Sharing detailed reports on key threats, vulnerabilities, and recommended actions with stakeholders to enhance overall security and inform risk mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Advanced proficiency with vulnerability management tools like Nessus, Qualys, and OpenVAS
- Expertise in IPv4, IPv6, and DNS protocols
- Experience with IOC creation using YARA, Sigma, or STIX/TAXII formats
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
