We are seeking a Cloud Architect/DevOps Senior to join our team. As a key member of our engineering platform, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, deploying, and maintaining our internal infrastructure and systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement our core infrastructure and systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tools and enablers that meet our product/engineering needs, providing an exceptional developer experience.
  • Tackle complex technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and improve our platform and its services.
  • Identify operational constraints, performance bottlenecks, security risks, and availability issues, outlining opportunities for improvement.
  • Create and maintain relevant documentation for peers and users.
  • Work closely with other engineering teams, supporting onboarding, advocating best practices, assisting with debugging production outages, and devising improvement actions.
  • Support high availability and reliability, participating in a 24x7 on-call production support.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar functions.
  • Previous experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions.
  • Desirable background in infrastructure and network management.
  • Good understanding of large-scale complex distributed systems event-driven based.
  • Strong Linux systems administration and OS hardening skills.
  • Experience performing common database administration tasks (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience working with public cloud services (IaaS/PaaS) and virtualized compute infrastructure (VMware, KVM, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Clouds (AWS and Azure)).
  • Great knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and relevant config management/automation tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible).
  • Excellent working knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipelines for software lifecycle and infrastructure provisioning (e.g. GitLab, Nexus, Jenkins).
  • Experience with logging, metrics, monitoring, and tracing technologies and systems (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Vector, Open Tracing).
  • Knowledge of programming/scripting languages and building software to solve practical challenges (e.g. Go, Python, Bash).
  • Good understanding of IP networking.
  • Ability to work with application solution architects to present solutions to software design problems.
  • Positive and solution-oriented mindset, curious to experiment with new technology, and eager to learn new skills.
  • Comfortable making decisions with a high degree of autonomy while working within a multi-disciplinary team.

Language Skills:

  • English fluency (oral and written).
