Becoming one of our +10.000 tech and business leaders on cloud, data, and cyber security requires passion, expertise, and dedication. As a Cloud Data Engineer, you'll play a key role in driving innovation and change by developing cutting-edge solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
You will focus on delivering high-quality data projects, working with GCP Data Services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Dataplex. You'll also write efficient SQL queries, develop data processing pipelines using Apache Beam and CI/CD automatisms, automate data engineering tasks, and build and manage data pipelines.
The ideal candidate has:
- A Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field
- 2+ years of professional experience in a data engineering role
- Experience with GCP Data Services
- Data warehousing knowledge
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, and SQL
- Experience with tools like Apache Airflow, Google Cloud Composer, or Cloud Data Fusion
- A code-review mindset
- Knowledge of streaming data processing using tools like Apache Kafka
