Job Description

We are seeking an expert soft matter physicist to join our Large Scale Structures (LSS) group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Co-running the D11 SANS instrument, participating in day-to-day operations, technical development, and upgrades;
  • Providing support to users for scientific experiments and guidance with data analysis;
  • Promoting scientific partnerships in your field of research;
  • Participating in long-term instrumentation, sample environment, and data analysis development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A PhD in physics, biophysics, or physical chemistry;
  • Experience in small-angle scattering;
  • General skills in data analysis and knowledge of a programming language (Python or similar).
