Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Bk Search. As a key member of our Network & Systems Management team, you will play a crucial role in the engineering activities of our Endpoint Virtual Environments.

• Configure and maintain virtual desktops and apps within AWS using Citrix experience.
• Implement DevOps scripting tools for the lifecycle management of gold images, ensuring a consistent and efficient approach.
• Conduct troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and collaborate with vendor support to resolve complex technical issues.
• Identify trends in technical challenges and propose long-term improvements to enhance platform performance.
• Communicate issue status and resolutions effectively to internal stakeholders.
• Drive innovation within the platform, aligning solutions with strategic objectives and promoting vendor-neutral approaches.

• Proficiency in Citrix, Virtual Desktops, and Citrix Cloud is essential.
• Experience with VDI environments and MCS deployments.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell (mandatory).
• Knowledge of FSLogix, WEM, Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Group Policy.
• Familiarity with Windows 10/11, macOS, iOS, Linux clients.
• Experience in managing gold images for Citrix Workers and Virtual Desktops.
• Technical understanding of AWS and Alibaba Cloud is advantageous.
• Agile work experience with Jira and documentation skills in Confluence.
• Exposure or willingness to learn Infrastructure as Code using tools like GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Packer, Ansible.
• Familiarity with json, yml, vbs; Python is a plus.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to lead projects independently.
