About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow administrator to manage the configuration and maintenance of our ServiceNow system. As a Senior Service Management Specialist, you will work closely with our ServiceNow Admin Team to ensure the smooth operation of the platform. This is a key role in our organization, and we are seeking someone with extensive experience in ServiceNow administration.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:
  1. Configuring and maintaining the ServiceNow system.
  2. Working with the ServiceNow Admin Team to resolve support issues and fulfill their requests within ServiceNow.
  3. Managing a team of ServiceNow System Administrators.
  4. Solving LDAP/SSO related issues and integration related issues.
  5. Enabling plugins (available or HI portal).
  6. Creating transform maps if necessary to transform data.
  7. Modifying existing transform maps.
  8. Adding or modifying field maps necessary to map fields into ServiceNow.
  9. Creating or modifying simple transform map scripts to ensure smooth data transfer into ServiceNow.
  10. Creating/Customizing SLAs.
  11. Creating ServiceNow reports and dashboards.
  12. Managing email properties and system properties.
  13. Table archiving.
  14. Coordinating with ServiceNow vendor support for planned events, changes, or activities carried out in the ServiceNow datacentre.
  15. Creating Basic Service Catalog UI.
  16. Promoting Update sets.
  17. Managing Service portal related issues.
  18. Validating ACL for troubleshooting and Workflow troubleshooting.
  19. Managing 3rd Level support and escalations.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 12 months of hands-on experience with ServiceNow Administration, database concepts, and data onboarding experience. Required skills and qualifications include:
  1. Understanding the dependency between different ServiceNow platform and cloud components.
  2. Experience with ServiceNow data sets, transform maps, and reporting.
  3. Exposure to Agile/SCRUM methodology.


Certifications

ServiceNow System Administrator, ITIL Foundation.
