Role Overview
KEO International Consultants is seeking a skilled CAD Technician - Structures to join our dynamic Infrastructure team in Lisbon or Porto, Portugal.
The ideal candidate will possess a diploma in drafting or a related subject, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position. Proficiency in software such as Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit is essential, while experience in Navisworks, Bentley AECOSim, and 3D modelling in Civil 3D is highly desirable.
Responsibilities will include producing technical drawings and 3D models for Structures related to road infrastructure, as well as preparing deliverables and collaborating with other disciplines to achieve a fully integrated design.
Successful candidates will demonstrate solid written and verbal communication skills in English and be able to work effectively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare technical drafting and modelling for Structures related to road infrastructure.
- Produce technical drawings and/or fully compliant 3D models of Bridges and other Civil Structures.
- Prepare deliverables, including native and ifc formats, and data transfer.
- Extract data from models for coordination purposes and perform clash detection checking.
- Assemble federated models and asset tag models as required.
- Assist with the production of visualization models and sketches for Structures and other teams.
- Produce reinforcement drawings, including Bending Bar Schedules.
- Liaise with Engineers regarding information requirements, coordination between disciplines, and project progress.
- Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines to achieve a fully integrated design.
- Convert concepts and sketches into engineering drawings based on project requirements.
- Develop workflows for various stages in design and submissions.
Requirements
- Diploma in drafting or a related subject.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit.
- Experience in Navisworks, Bentley AECOSim, and 3D modelling in Civil 3D is highly desirable.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.
