We are seeking an experienced Senior Tender Professional to join our team as a Contract and Procurement Specialist.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy, with expertise in contract negotiation, closing agreements, and managing claims. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic team, contributing to the rapid growth of our pipeline and driving the energy transition forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tender Management: Manage project opportunities from pre-tender phase through to contract award and Notice to Proceed.
- Process Improvement: Develop and manage processes that benefit the team and business, taking initiative to improve how we do things.
- Commercial Negotiation: Negotiate commercial terms with preferred bidders based on the requirements of the project.
- Project Oversight: Oversee projects effectively, leading meetings and communications, and directing stakeholders to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Representation: Represent Lightsource bp at company events, conveying our business and development acumen in a professional manner while enforcing company strategies.
Requirements:
- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the energy project lifecycle and key industry players.
- Expertise: Expertise in construction contracts, including FIDIC contract structures.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Portuguese will be a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in the renewable energy and construction industries, ideally with an EPC company or a similar organization like Lightsource bp.
