Localization QA Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Localization QA Specialist to join our team. As a Localization QA Game Tester, you will work within our Localization Quality Assurance team and be the first person to see the localized game in its entirety.

About the Role:

  • You will collaborate with a global project team to ensure that the game is free from grammatical errors, cultural inconsistencies, and accurately localized into the target language.
  • You will identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors.
  • You will ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
  • You will log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
  • You will maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
  • You will identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
  • You will write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation.

Requirements:

  • You must have fluency in Thai and English.
  • No experience is required; we will provide training and support.
  • You must have strong cultural understanding of the language you are applying for.
  • You must have computer literacy, particularly with Excel.
  • You must have robust Internet research skills.
  • You must have excellent attention to detail.
  • You must have previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites.
  • You must be able to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams.
