About this role: As a Global Game Localization Specialist, you will work within our Localization Quality Assurance team and be the first person to review the localized game in its entirety – translated text, images, and user interface collectively. You'll get to experience the project as end-users do. You will collaborate with a multilingual project team to ensure that the game is free from grammatical errors, cultural inconsistencies, and accurately localized into the target language.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a global project team.
  • Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors.
  • Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
  • Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
  • Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
  • Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
  • Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation.
  • Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects.

Requirements:
  • Fluency in Thai and English.
  • No prior experience is required; we provide training and support.
  • Strong cultural understanding of the language.
  • Computer literacy, particularly with Excel.
  • Rigorous Internet research skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, and collaborate within project teams.
  • You must be able to provide evidence of your right to work in Portugal.

Working Conditions:
  • Remote work arrangement.
  • Project-based work.
  • Flexibility to work between 8:00 to 17:00 Portugal Time, Mondays through Fridays.
  • Minimum 4 hours of work per day (if there's a project).
