**Job Description:**

We're seeking a talented Platform Engineer to join our dynamic Developer Enablement domain at Mollie. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining high-quality, scalable observability tools and platforms.
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to integrate observability practices into the development lifecycle.
  • Leading the creation and adoption of standardized observability frameworks.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Design, implement, and refine data pipelines for collecting, aggregating, and normalizing telemetry data from diverse sources.
  • Advocate for best practices in code instrumentation.
  • Contribute to developing a comprehensive service inventory.
  • Engage in continuous learning and sharing of knowledge within the team.

**Skills Required:**

  • Solid background in software engineering.
  • Past experience with observability and monitoring of distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Sentry, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Terraform.
  • Familiarity with Linux systems and shell scripting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills.
