Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Program Director to lead our medical device development efforts. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring groundbreaking devices from concept to reality.
Your key responsibilities will include resource alignment, Agile methodology application, and technical discussion facilitation. You will define milestones and prioritize short-term goals, documenting project plans, scope, and decisions to ensure compliance with industry standards.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will need a bachelor's degree in hardware or software engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in program management. You should have successfully led multi-quarter or multi-year projects, launching large-scale electronics or electromechanical devices into the US or European markets.
Bonus points for proficiency in regulatory requirements for medical device development and experience with international suppliers and contract manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Align resources and timeline with key stakeholders and leadership
2. Apply Agile methodologies towards medical device hardware and software development
3. Work with product teams to define milestones and prioritize short-term goals along a product development path
4. Document project plans, scope, and decisions, as required by medical device industry standards
5. Facilitate technical discussions at intersections (Hardware/Software, Hardware/Manufacturing, etc) that require close collaboration
6. Support members, clients, and engineering teams with special projects
