About the Role

At Capgemini, we're seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and efficient data-centric applications and systems. As a key member of our team, you'll guide and mentor junior and mid-level engineers, collaborate closely with stakeholders to define data strategies and roadmaps, and ensure their successful execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and efficient data-centric applications and systems.
  • Guide and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define data strategies and roadmaps.
  • Support the team by implementing complex functions.
  • Architect robust, scalable, and high-performance data solutions.
  • Provide expert-level guidance on data analysis, modeling, and interpretation.
  • Oversee the implementation of advanced ETL/ELT processes.
  • Drive innovation in data infrastructure and methodologies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in data governance, metadata management, and ensuring adherence to data compliance regulations.

Requirements
  • 8 or more years of experience in progressively responsible data engineering roles.
  • Extensive proficiency in data warehouse design, implementation, and optimization.
  • Advanced proficiency in multiple programming languages used for data engineering.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with GCP.
  • Extensive knowledge operating systems.
  • Deep understanding and proven expertise in data modeling.
  • Extensive experience with big data technologies.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership in data governance, metadata management, and establishing best practices for ensuring data quality and compliance.
