We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist - Strategic Sourcing to join our team at Chartered Institute Of Procurement And Supply (Cips).

**Company Overview**

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of regional category-specific strategies. This includes identifying and recommending 'best-in-class' suppliers and maintaining strong relationships with them. You will also lead strategic supplier negotiations and contribute to global category sourcing strategies and initiatives.

**Job Description**

Your main tasks will include:

  • Supporting the development and implementation of regional category-specific strategies
  • Identifying and recommending 'best-in-class' suppliers
  • Maintaining good relationships with suppliers
  • Leading strategic supplier negotiations
  • Contributing to global category sourcing strategies and initiatives

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant university degree (Bachelor) and/or equivalent experience
  • More than 3 years of relevant procurement experience (indirect preferably)
  • Project management and supplier management experience preferred
  • Fluent English (conversational Spanish is nice to have)
  • Good negotiation skills and ability to manage suppliers and key stakeholders
  • Knowledge of contract management and risk management

**Estimated Salary**: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum
