Our client is a multinational packaging company with a strong presence in Europe, operating in various countries including Germany, the UK, France, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Hungary, and the Czech Republic.
The company's commitment to expansion has led to a pressing need for a skilled SAP IBP Application Specialist to join their European team. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the success of the organization's operations across the region.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing support across multiple sites in the EMEA region, guaranteeing consistent improvements to existing systems, including the implementation of new functionality. As a key member of the team, they will work closely with business stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance the organization's operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and evolve SAP IBP templates to meet the evolving needs of the organization
- Provide technical support and expertise to ensure seamless operation of SAP IBP systems
- Schedule and monitor periodic jobs in the planning and forecast cycle to ensure timely completion
- Manage SAP IBP quarterly upgrades to maintain system integrity and performance
- Evaluate new features of SAP IBP tools and advise business stakeholders on optimal utilization
- Ensure solutions are implemented on time, within budget, and to the required standard
Requirements
- Proven experience in SAP IBP Demand Planning and S&OP module, CPI-DS, and APO
- Familiarity with SAP IBP PLM module is an advantage
- Experience in SAP PP and MM modules
- Active participation in multiple SAP IBP implementations across industries
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Fluency in English language
- Solid understanding of industrial site processes
- Experience in international SAP IBP projects, office tools, and planning PC tools
- Expertise in requirements modeling, software development methods, metrics, user interface design principles, and formalizing functional specifications
