Job Title: Senior Automation Tester


We are looking for a senior automation tester to join our world-class team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, an eye for detail, and excellent interpersonal skills. As a senior automation tester, you will be responsible for identifying, writing, debugging, and executing automated tests, as well as manual tests where necessary. You will work on a new client engagement, covering both Front End automation and experience of testing APIs using Playwright and Typescript.


Key Responsibilities:



  • System testing on new projects
  • Proficient in JavaScript-based automation frameworks and tools or Java, Selenium Web Driver
  • Creating automated regression packs covering both API and front-end-based features
  • Experience with test automation using TypeScript and Playwright
  • Knowledge and experience in Agile environments
  • Strong experience with API/Integration testing using Pytest
  • Excellent experience with visual testing automation using Playwright
  • Proficient in assessing unit tests and integration test coverage
  • Working experience with tools like Jira and Zephyr
  • Working knowledge of UNIX
  • Experience in exploratory testing and willingness to perform manual testing when required
  • Ability to identify data requirements and implement tests to achieve coverage
  • Recommend and implement improvements to the test automation framework
  • Experience in test automation within a continuous integration environment
  • Ability to collaborate in daily standups and work closely with developers
  • Effective interpersonal skills and proven ability to collaborate with all stakeholders
  • Attentive to detail and highly organized
  • Demonstrated ability to change direction and re-prioritize in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills, with the ability to hold others accountable
  • Experience using Git SCM tools, such as GitHub, Bitbucket, or similar tools
