We are looking for an Azure Data Engineer to join our team in Porto, working on a hybrid basis. The ideal candidate should have solid skills in Microsoft Azure, capable of managing and optimizing cloud infrastructures, ensuring performance, security, and operational efficiency.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Working closely with technical and project teams to gather requirements and design Azure Cloud solutions that meet their needs.
  • Liaising with external integration teams, ensuring compliance with best practices within the Azure stack (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Hubs, Azure Functions, and API Management).
  • Designing and implementing hybrid cloud solutions, including the integration of on-premises infrastructure into the Azure cloud.
  • Providing technical guidance and leadership to our development and operations teams on Azure Cloud best practices and technologies.

The requirements for this role include:

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in Azure cloud solutions.
  • Experience in Azure IaaS and PaaS services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, databases, and application services.
  • Strong understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and integration of on-premises infrastructure with Azure cloud.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical interlocutors.
