Occupational Therapist Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to patients in acute rehab settings.

About the Role: As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans and provide occupational therapy services to patients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Implementing occupational therapy treatment programs as described by an Occupational Therapist's written plan of care
• Providing occupational therapy services under the supervision of the OT, and modifying treatment only as allowed by the plan of care
• Maintaining accurate documentation in the medical record and completing other documentation duties efficiently

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A graduate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant or an Occupational Therapist program
• A current license to practice Occupational Therapy by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners license or eligibility
• Current certification in Basic Life Support
