The Transaction Monitoring Team supports the Transaction and Fraud Monitoring processes of MarTrust, reporting directly to the Transaction Monitoring Manager.

This role plays a key part in ensuring a smooth operation of AML operational functions, including Fraud and Transaction Monitoring of overall Compliance Framework of MarTrust.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Monitoring and analyzing transactions to detect suspicious and fraud-related activities, as per policies and procedures to ensure full compliance with regulatory obligations.
  • Reviewing alerts, transaction patterns, and customer behavior to assess risk and potential suspicious and fraud-related activity.
  • Recording and maintaining findings.
  • Reporting SARs for suspicious activities identified.
  • Assistance in conducting relevant compliance monitoring tests to ensure adherence to the compliance monitoring programme.
  • Completing mandatory trainings within the set timeframe.
  • Addressing escalations via the escalation channels.
  • Ensuring that efficient rules are set up in the Transaction Monitoring and Fraud Monitoring environment.
  • Closely monitor the behavior of updated / new rules put in place to ensure efficiency.
