Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team in Porto, Portugal. As a key member of our Accounting Department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial statements, while driving process improvements and optimizing our accounting systems. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our hyper-growth phase and make a significant impact on our organization's success.
Responsibilities- Oversee the certification of financial statements, analyzing and validating accounting results and exposures as part of monthly and quarterly closings.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
- Implement and maintain financial accounting systems, including NetSuite, Brex, and Zip, with a focus on efficiency and compliance.
- Work cross-functionally to accelerate the close process, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Analyze and improve financial reports, identifying areas for enhancement and automation.
- University degree in finance or economics.
- 3+ years of experience in Finance and Controlling functions, preferably with Big 4 training.
- Strong analytical skills, hands-on attitude, and a logical approach to problem-solving.
- Experience with NetSuite, ideally with implementation and usage.
- Familiarity with international organizations and fast-growing environments is a plus.
- A competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
